About

Amber Willingham is a dedicated wife, mom, attorney, and storyteller. She graduated from Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma School of Law in the 1990s and has been balancing the demanding roles of law and parenting ever since.

With a career spanning a couple of decades in law and nearly as long in motherhood, Amber decided to embark on her third act: writing. She believes that many people experience three distinct careers in their lifetime. For her, it was first as an attorney, then a mom, a return to her legal career (though it doesn’t quite count as a separate career), and now, a storyteller.

“The Petroleum Wars,” the prequel to “Bliss Creek,” is her second novel.

Amber has two children, Cole and Casey Ray, who light up her life and inspire her every day. She lives in Katy, Texas, with her husband, Phil, and their four rescue pets: Raleigh, Suki, April, and Kiko.
